Outer display: quick coloring

Lake has always worked on a phone, but a small screen means more zooming and tapping. On iPhone Duo, Lake positions the outer display for short coloring sessions on the go.

Inner display: a bigger canvas

Lake says the inner display layout was redesigned rather than scaled up. It describes the result as less cluttered, with more space for the artwork and the coloring tools kept within easy reach. Lake compares the feel to having an iPad mini in your pocket.

Browsing your art

The All Art and My Works sections use a more expanded layout on iPhone Duo, so you can see more drawings and more of your own finished pieces at a glance.

Apple Pencil, if it arrives

Lake says it will add Apple Pencil support as soon as Pencil becomes available on iPhone Duo. Apple has said iPhone Duo will support Apple Pencil with USB-C later this year, so this is a plan Lake has tied to Apple's timing.
